Birthdate: 3-Feb-2026

Observation: At seven weeks of age, Grace 1 underbite present.
A Grade 1 underbite in a poodle or doodle puppy is a minor, often temporary, jaw misalignment where the lower teeth sit just slightly in front of the upper teeth. In most cases, this is considered a cosmetic issue—often referred to as an "endearing" or "quirky" look—rather than a functional one.
Cause: could be genetic or congenital, often caused by the lower jaw developing slower than the upper or having a slightly longer lower jaw.
Natural Correction: Because the lower jaw is the last part of the head to fully grow, many poodle puppies will grow out of a slight underbite by 4–6 months.
Cosmetic vs. Functional: If the puppy can eat, play, and close its mouth comfortably, no intervention is needed. A grade 1 underbite rarely causes dental pain or eating issues.
